My work brings client visions to life with unusual materials and meticulously crafted details.
At the early age of 11, Mark's involvement in his family business of acrylic fabrication solidified the underpinnings of his career as a designer, carpenter, artist, and builder. During this formative phase, he designed and built retail display cases for brands like Vuarnet, Crown Royal, and Isuzu.
Seeking more creative substance and challenges, Mark transitioned, in 1990, to assist artist Craig French to create and build multi-media sculptures that fuse diverse materials such as copper, brass, steel, and aluminum, exotic hardwoods, resin, and acrylic. The fruitful collaboration not only reinforced Mark's experience as a designer and artist but also elevated his craftsmanship.
In 2005, Mark opened his own studio and has since been creating film and commercial props, custom furniture, and one-of-a-kind sculptures. He continues to collaborate with multiple artists, including Soojung Park, Craig French, Shana Mabari, and Elizabeth Orleans.
